I have 6+ years of data and software engineering expertise working in start-up, mid-size
and enterprise environments delivering robust data and software solutions. Well-versed
in moving through the software development life cycle building products from ideation to
production to create exceptional data and software experiences.
I work with software teams on creatng innovative data and software solutions including
but not limited to, iOS mobile apps, facility assessment software, ESG software, data
integrations, analysis and visualization solutions and interactive data analytics
dashboards.
I am able to successfully present technology concepts in very simple terms. Beyond
coding proficiency, my unique skill set extend to the realms of strategic planning,
business analysis, and relationship management

I am a Bachelor of Science graduate who majored in Computer Science with a focus on
software engineering and a minor in Economics.
I am a lover of technology.
Specifically, building great and innovative products. My areas of interest are software
development,
digital transformations, actionable insights from integrated data and their
visualizations as well as machine learning and artificial intelligence. While I like the
creative outlet that front-end development offers, I especially enjoy the challenges of
back-end
development and getting a program to work according to business requirements.
I firmly believe in taking a human-centered approach in all aspects of development and
adhering to software development principles to produce quality software that will meet
the needs of end users.

Weis Index (Web Application)
An automated software platform (web application) that is used to
monitor
and analyze compliance, business processes, facilities and branding
standards.
Maintained and added new functionality using Java, JavaScript, JQuery, Html, CSS,
MySql
Database and Grails. The mobile app is in Objective C.
Weis Index (Mobile App)
An mobile iOS app that is used to monitor and analyze compliance,
business
processes, facilities and branding standards. It communicates with a
Java backend via REST APIs.

Dashboard Analytics Platform
An analytics tool that integrates data from multiple systems and then
synthesizes that data to generate and visualize various business specific KPI
metrics.
Users can see their specific performance, as well as the performance on a national,
province, territory and sales performance group basis and compare their performance
against their peers and how
that performance trends over time.
Built using React, Node.js, Python,
Flask
and SQL Server.
Personal Projects
Vending Machine Simulation
This program simulates the operation of a soft drink vending machine.
It
assumes that the vending machine never runs out of pop and only provides one flavor
of
pop.
The language used is C.
Poker (bot) Agent
This program is an agent written in Java that plays the card game of
heads-up pot limit badugi.
This project was part of an artifical
intielligence
course. I placed 2nd in a class tournament of 150 students.
Student Mananagement Registration System
A React single page application with a very basic simple UI (forms and
tables) containing a home page that hold links to components
where via API calls, student and course information can be entered as well as
retrieved
and displayed.
Built with a React frontend, Node.js backend, Express.js framework, Axios
middlewhere
and a MySql database. It is deployed via a
Docker container.
Orchestration Microservice Demo
The implementation of an orchestration microservice service that
integrates
with existing user, subscription, and preference services
demonstrating the utilization of an orchestration pattern to manage interactions
between
these services effectively.
Implemented in Python.

Use of VAEs to Generate Images for a Class Imbalanced Datasets
We propose a method of applying a feature perceptual loss for a
Variational
Autoencoder (VAE)
to a dataset where it generally doesn’t work well in. We use a data augmentation
approach
of generating synthetic data in the scenario mitigating the class imbalance of a
classifier. Two model architectures for the classifiers were used - a regular
Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and ResNet - so that a more robust conclusion can
be
done.
Datamining Anayisis of the RMS Titanic Dataset
Datamining analysis of the RMS Titanic dataset to determine which of out classification models and regression models performed the best in prediction the probability of survival or non-survival from the Titanic? And, did any one or more features play a contributing factor in the probability of survival?
Distance Between two Addresses Calculator
A simple web application that allows a user to query the
distance between two addresses and view past queries.
Written in Typescript this was built with a Svelte with SvelteKit frontend, Node.js backend, Express.js framework, Axios
middlewhere and a MongoDB database.
